D-5-YB-TV (Ch. 5) is a television translator station[1] airing programming from GMA Network. Owned and operated by the network's namesake corporate parent alongside GTV (DYBM TV-28). Both stations share transmitter facilities at Brgy. Palinpinon, Valencia, Negros Oriental,[2] with the previous location being in Brgy. Looc, Sibulan, Negros Oriental until 2023.[3] Since 2021, it has been a relay of GMA Cebu (DYSS TV-7) to broadcast local newscast Balitang Bisdak.[4]

Viewers in Calbayog, Borongan, and Dumaguete can now catch the unified newscast "GMA Regional TV Balitang Bisdak" and the morning show "GMA Regional TV Live!" via GMA RTV's local channels. The additional service areas further cement the presence of GMA Network's regional arm in Central and Eastern Visayas which already has a strong viewership in Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental, Siquijor, and Leyte.
